The Best SKATING Rink in the East
Skaters Roller Rink in Wisbech has been in business for over 30 years, run by Michael McInerney (owner) and his two managers – Gary Evison, Rink manager, and Dee McInerney, Diner Manager. Mike leased the building in February 2014 before purchasing it in May 2018. Since then, we’ve been working at Skaters to further develop this iconic skating rink in the East into an even more exciting venue, offering exciting events and activities for all of the famiy.

Mike is a Junior European Inline Speed Skating Champion. Achieving this aged 15 in 1987, Mike took home 7 medals (a record which still hasn’t been broken!) He still competes today, now 49 years of age and also coaches WISS (Wisbech Inline Speed Skating Club) every Saturday night from 5 pm – 7 pm at Skaters Roller Rink. The club is constantly growing and has in excess of 25 members who compete throughout the UK and Europe.
There are only 4 skating rinks in the country that have a purpose build wooden maple floor and our very own ‘Skaters’ is one of them! Not only that but they also have a Skate Shop, a Diner with a full menu of hot and cold food and so much more. There are clubs that meet there weekly and represent Skaters in competitions. The Roller Hockey Club meets every Tuesday from 6 pm – 10.15 pm. There are roughly 40 members in the club and they compete at local venues throughout the Eastern Counties District. Both the roller hockey and the inline speed skating club offer the first session for free so come along and give it a go!

We host a number of events throughout the year including All Night Skate, National Boxing Evenings and Big Bounce Days. Keep your eyes open for forthcoming events!
For affordable family fun, we run sessions throughout the school holidays. Skaters are ready for everyone – from our little rollers all the way to their parents.
